Learning Resources

Downloadable guides, templates, workbooks, and planners that support skills practice across our online programmes and workshops.

How resources are used

Resources are shared digitally alongside programme guidance. Some items are included with registration; others are referenced during workshops.

Education-only content. Tools support learning practice; outcomes vary by learner context.

A resource library built for practice

Learning resources are the unglamorous part of skill-building: the worksheets you reuse, the templates you revise, and the checklists that keep work visible. PIMTV’s materials are designed to fit common workplace routines such as weekly planning, meeting coordination, stakeholder updates, and basic project tracking. They are intentionally simple so they can be adapted to different roles and industries across Canada.

Each item supports a specific learning objective. A communication template might focus on message structure and tone. A project planning worksheet might guide scope notes, milestones, and dependencies. A productivity planner might help establish a planning cadence and a backlog review. In programmes, resources are paired with short lessons and practical exercises, so learners can test the tool in a realistic scenario rather than treating it as a generic download.

Resources are educational materials, not professional advice. They do not promise employment, promotions, certifications, business success, or financial outcomes. The aim is repeatable practice and clearer thinking—then learners apply what they’ve learned to their own context.

How to use the materials effectively

Templates are useful when they are treated as training wheels, not finished products. The goal is to practise the underlying skill: structuring information, clarifying ownership, and creating a repeatable cadence. Below is a straightforward approach we recommend across resources, whether you are using a meeting agenda, a planner, or a project worksheet.

01

Start with the purpose

Name the use-case in one line: “weekly status update,” “project handoff,” or “meeting follow-up.” This keeps the template focused.

Resources support learning; they are not professional advice.

02

Run one small cycle

Use the template for a single week or one short project phase. Capture friction points instead of aiming for perfection.

Learning progress varies; practice time matters.

03

Refine the language

Replace generic labels with what your team uses: stakeholder names, handoff steps, or common meeting sections.

Avoid overfitting; keep it reusable.

04

Keep an audit trail

Save versions and notes. Seeing how the template evolves is part of the learning, especially for communication and planning.

No guarantees of employment or financial outcomes.
